Description
Elephants are called nature’s gardeners due to how they change landscapes by digging waterholes, creating footpaths, opening up habitats and dispersing seeds in their dung. Their bodies use only about 50 percent of the food they eat so their manure is rich in nutrients.
To keep the habitat safe for residents and take advantage of a good source of natural fertilizer, we need a heavy-duty manure spreader. To tackle the size and amount of elephant dung, we’ll need a hydraulic end gate and add on shredding bars to ensure the spreader works effectively.
Here’s how the components of the spreader break down:
• 85 Cu. Ft. PTO Drive Manure Spreader – $7,499.00
• Hydraulic End Gate – $1,299.00
• Fines Pan – $399
• Shipping – $1,829
Total $11,026
Please consider donating one of the components or contributing to the total. Every donation counts and we appreciate your support!
