Hand Painted Stones
Hand-Painted Elephant Stones
Each hand-painted stone is one of a kind and inspired by elephants connected to Elephant Aid International’s work.
For our newest collection, Stones of Gratitude, artist Maritza shared this theme:
This small edition was created to honor all those who walked with us in the fight for Mundi’s freedom. To those who raised their voices, shared the truth, educated with patience, and held on to hope even when it felt fragile.
To those who understood that an elephant deserved to live without chains. Thank you for every gesture, every word, and every step. Each stone carries your strength, your love, and your commitment. It is a tribute to all of you, and to Mundi, who now lives in freedom at Elephant Refuge North America, cared for with love by Carol Buckley and her dedicated team.

About the Artist: Maritza Curet from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, used a natural stone as a canvas to highlight the desire for Mundi’s freedom (“Mundi Libre”). “La Piedrita de Mundi” (Mundi’s Little Stone) was created to raise social awareness and liberate all the captive animals of the closed Puerto Rico Zoo.
You can browse the newest collection below or explore remaining stones from previous collections, organized by elephant and the Trio.
Purchases help support the elephants’ daily care and EAI’s ongoing work for elephants.
