Private Immersion Experience
Elephant Refuge North America’s Private Immersion Experience (PIE) program offers donors the unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our elephant care and rehabilitation philosophy and the complex needs of elephants living in captive environments.
With your commitment of $10,000 or more, you and a guest will be invited to step away from daily life and enter an environment designed for deep connection, learning, and renewal.
This exclusive private immersion provides a rare opportunity to witness how elephants live in a truly natural environment created for their recovery and well-being. You will observe firsthand the principles of compassionate care and coexistence that guide every aspect of their lives here, with a strong focus on supporting each elephant’s autonomy.
Throughout your visit, you will gain meaningful insights into the profound impact of your support of these magnificent beings. Guests will travel through the Refuge in a utility vehicle, escorted by founder Carol Buckley and experienced staff, ensuring an intimate, educational experience you will never forget.

Your donation directly supports the elephants’ lifelong care.
Availability
This opportunity is open to anyone who contributes at the required level. Visits are limited and scheduled individually based on ERNA’s availability and the daily rhythms of the elephants.
Important Notes
- Physical interaction of any kind with the elephants is not permitted
- All guests must sign a visitor agreement in advance
- Photography or social media sharing requires prior approval
- Portions of the visit may involve uneven terrain and outdoor exposure
