During winter, when grasses go dormant, bamboo is evergreen. It is no surprise that this favored food of wild Asian elephants is also Bo, Mundi, and Tarra’s favorite. To keep bamboo on the menu, we bring in fresh-cut loads throughout the winter.
Each trailer load costs $75, and our goal is to cover three loads per week until spring.
You can help by sponsoring a load for $75, covering a full week for $225, or giving whatever feels right. Every gift helps keep fresh bamboo coming for all three elephants throughout the winter!
Every donation is greatly appreciated and helps us take care of the magnificent elephant residents under our care.
